Our entertainment community gave birth to the cultural phenomenon, Barbenheimer, with 23B impressions of related content on X throughout the Barbenheimer season.1 Our sports community turned to X to surpass the TRILLION mark for impressions, making it the most visible topic on the platform - followed closely by Gaming and Music.2 The volume of content and visibility it gets on X is why we see people turn here when things happen.

From the Super Bowl to the presidential election, X is going to be the home for the moments that matter in 2024. We’re seeing monumental growth in daily time spent on X. On average, our community is spending 6 billion active minutes on X each day, a 10% increase vs. last quarter, and average daily video views have increased by 29% from last year.3

In 2024, brands that join the conversation are the ones that will break through this year. And today, people on X are more engaged with brands. In the second half of ‘23 we’ve seen a 63% growth in people liking branded content, a 20% increase in reposting this content, a 14% increase in views and a 6% increase in impressions.4
