X Ads

1. Create an X account

Get your business started on X and leverage the power of the platform. 

Once you've create an X account, you can access the X Ads Manager for freeVisit ads.x.com and login using the credentials for the account you want to run a campaign from.

Before you can run an X Ads campaign, you need to add a payment method. You will not be billed unless you launch a campaign.

2. Create your ads

Select "post composer (New)" from the "Creatives" menu.

Create your post, keep the Promoted-only box checked, and hit "post." Repeat until you've created all of the posts you'd like to promote.

  • Keep post copy clear and concise
  • Include a call-to-action (e.g. Download our guide, Shop our sale)
  • Keep videos to 15-seconds or less

3. Build your campaign

Select “Create campaign” from the “Campaigns” drop-down menu in your Ads Manager. Follow the prompts to choose your objective and fill in your campaign details. 

Campaign dates: Dates can be adjusted at any point. 

  • For most campaigns, we recommend running your campaign for two or more weeks, making optimizations after the first few days.

Budget: There is no minimum spend, and you can adjust your budget at any time.

Ad groups: Ad groups are there to help you show different messages to different audiences (or "groups"), and/or adjust parameters like targeting, budget, or run dates for certain groups. It's okay to only have one ad group.

4. Launch and measure your results

Once your campaign is live, you’ll be able to track results in real-time from your Ads Manager dashboard. See how your campaign is doing with our free measurement tools to understand what's working and what needs optimizing.
